Hey so i have a g73 and somehing is funky about the sleep option. When i go to sleep at night, i put the computer into sleep mode. When i wake up in the morning, i find that it has somehow turned itself back on. Is there any way i can see a list of processes that occured overnight so that i can find out what is waking up the computer?

You probably have wake-on-lan enabled. Go into windows power management and under advanced settings in your power plan check every setting. You'll want to allow windows to turn off your networking and such while it's sleeping.

The other thing is that all of the power settings are for when the computer is awake... i can choose either maximum performance or maximum battery. There is nothiing about suspending the LAN

Also, how can i be sure it is the network? Could something autoupdating itself wake the computer?
