Hey guys, been a while since Ive been on the forums. Anyways, I currently have a 180watt targus adapter thats great, but its huge and I hate taking it with me places. Ive been trying to use my stock (and damaged...yea I know) one (the 150watt) as my travel charger as its a bit smaller. I figured I could get away with it if I werent using it while gaming, as the power draw would be much lower. But that doesnt seem to be the case, it keeps freezing up my laptop whenever its plugged into it.

So, I was curious what you guys thought about this.

Newegg.com - Antec SNP90 Slim Notebook Power Adapter

90WATTs, and it looks like the it has the correct connector pin (as well as voltage). I basically want to use it for travel, but not gaming (hold on let me explain lol); Im a computer scientist and use my G73 for lots of programming. I want to be able to use the laptop on this adapter with my gpu at 70/100 .95 volts, but the CPU at max turbo boost. Assuming thats 45watts for the CPU alone, this adapter should still be enough to handle all CPU bound operations correct? As long as the GPU isnt also at full blast?

My apologizes for the long winded explanation for what probably seems like a simple question :p

I'd measured around 85W with my 740QM while running Prime.
IMO a 90w adaptor should do it.
