I have an asus g73sw. I put in an ssd as the os drive about 6 months ago. Just recently, maybe 1 month ago, my asus is very slow to start up, but real fast on a reboot. Now, its not just a cold start that it is slow. if I completely shut down, wait 1 second to manually restart, it is still real slow. During loading on start up, the screen goes completely dead, as well as the keyboard, for 1 minute. On a restart, this does not happen. I checked i bios to make sure I have the right drive in the boot order, I don't know what else this could be. please help

Have you checked to make sure the firmware is up to date with the SSD?

Have you also checked in BIOS to make sure it is set to AHCI?

Can you offer any further system specs for us? Are you plugged in or on battery when this occurs?
