Small Issues with G73

Hey there!
I'm new here, but have been an avid reader. I have the G73J (BestBuy edition). Bought it about 6 months ago. Lately, however, I noticed some issues with the graphics.

One, the Asus Live Update opens daily and it never works (doesn't update anything).

Two, The quick-button for video settings (normal mode, theater, gaming, etc..) doesn't work. Everytime I press it, it just says normal mode.

Three, I havn't updated this machine since I bought it. What am I missing?

while I've only had my g73jh (from best buy) i am familiar with Asus, first

UNINSTALL Live Update, crap software, never works, just get drivers from asus's website

2. not sure about that, try reinstalling some drivers (from asus's website) but since im not as familiar Id try to find which ones control that, I think its Splendid.

3. You should really go through the main posted threads, they've helped me out ALOT. While this laptop sure packs AMAZING hardware, some of the software needs to be updates and changed, you will REALLY improve your laptop. So for that Id recommend looking at some of the threads for what to do when you get your g73, and the ones providing info on how to update.
