    folks,help me.
    It seems the syncaptics touchpad on my g74sx will be disabled if I plug in a mouse. now my touchpad is disabled, doesn't work at all

    I still want to use both mouse and pad.. anyone know how to solve this?

    You have to open mouse settings in control panel, and in synaptics tab there should be check box which does that. Uncheck it.

    Yes. There's a check box in the last tab in mouse properties which says something like "disable internal pointing device when external mouse is plugged in" or something similar. Uncheck it if it is checked.
