I recently transplanted a gtx 260m from a g51vx to my g50vt. The motherboard accepts the card, and it runs fine (with modded drivers). I've found a problem where the incorrect subsys_id is read by the motherboard and device manager. Despite several attempts to correct it by flashing with nvflash, the incorrect id (19A2 instead of 1A52) keeps showing up  . I think the issue is that the bios doesn't properly "see" the card's architecture. So, I was wondering if anyone who is good at this stuff could take a look at the bios for these 2 laptops to see if there is any evidence to back up my suspicions. You'd be doing me a huge favor and I'd be sure to rep too.

    Thanks
