I have recently bought a speaker (Edifier S330) and i have been observing that the one speaker is actually louder than the other one.

My question is if the problem would be my laptop (Asus G73JH) connection or its really the speakers problem. I have used my klipsch in ear earphones and Koss portapro and the sound was balanced for me but if i use it on the speaker i can really notice the unbalanced sound leve.

Is there a test or software that I could use to confirm the unbalanced sound.

Do you have the Realtek HD audio driver installed- IF yes CP - sound Playback - speakers- properties - levels - balance- (make sure L + R are set to same level )-
To test - from balance - OK - OK configure- you should see Choose config. and Audio channels click test - then click on L or R speaker

Yes, I have done that and thats why i am sure that the sound levels were not balanced.

Is there a chance that the laptop has the problem? or is it the speakers that have the problem?
