I have an Asus G60jx laptop, and my speakers just started to not work. The weird part is it happened when I plugged in my head phones to listen to music. then when I unplugged them the speakers didn't work. The computer outputs sound just fine to headphones still and I am quite positive the speakers still work, because when I start up my computer that sound still goes when the republic of gamers tag goes up in fire. I have completely un-installed and re-installed all the sound drivers two times now and that did not work. So I think its something that Windows is doing (Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit), I think its not switching the sound from headphones back to speakers for some reason, but I just cant figure out how to fix it. please help. if more info needed, just ask.
thanks so much in advance!![]()

Its a common problem, look around a bit but it has something to do with the headphone jack getting stuck. Theres a way to unstuck it.

Check out the sticky and search within it for "headphone". It'll be a bit of reading but there are a lot of ways to try to fix it.
