This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I'd possibly like to upgrade my 1600x900 AUO screen... I don't mind the resolution, it's just the 'snow' that appears on certain shades of grey when the screen is tilted back a smidge too far.

    However I don't want to pay a ton for shipping, so I'm looking for UK based stores.

    Googling brings up sites with crap web pages, glossy screens with no choice and no mention of who makes them etc.

    I found rolta.co.uk on UK ebay and they answer on email.

    Be aware that when you order a screen you may not get what you ordered. All(?) the sellers on ebay have something like "We may ship a 100% compatible part" in the item description.
    So if you find the screen you want contact the seller first and check that it really is the one they say it is.
