Strange freeze on G74sx.

I have been using a G74sx for about 6 months and so far its been great, but recently i have been getting a freeze when ever i surf on the web, it doesn't happen often, but when it does i get no BSOD or any errors from windows or messages. I tried different browsers, but it still persists. I ran the DPC latency checker, trying to recreate the problem but it didn't freeze but i got some latency issues. I disable/ re-enable many of the drivers and it seems there are 2 drivers the realtek ethernet controller and the atheros wireless adapter that seems to be causing it.

I read many threads on the Asus forum and it seems the wireless adapter appears to be a big problem with theses laptops. I also installed the latest drivers for the wireless adapter and ethernet card and the dpc tool still registers a big dpc latency going on with them.

Another question: How long do you need to disable/re-enable a driver? Do you Disable one then wait and keep on disabling other drivers? Or disable one drivers, then enable the same one again after a little bit?

Anyways i read many threads on several forums on what i can do on this laptop from cpu throttle, overclocking, get rid of bloatware, etc and i gotta says its very helpful knowing and trying these things yourself. Just this strange freeze happens.

 

Just want to add more to the post. I have been using this laptop for 6 months and the first thing i did was get all the drivers, so i can do a clean install to get rid of the "bloatware" on it. I followed a guide that helps you thru it and so far since then the computer been working fine. To be more specific, when the freeze happens, it always been while I'm on the internet surfing. (I use firefox, but was using internet explorer before). When it happens the computer become very slow, until it locks ups. I can move my mouse around, but can't open any applications or anything, nothing responds. i waited for 10 mins and still nothing responds, i have to power it down. When i turn it back on it boots up normally and seems to be fine, no messages or anything, but at one time right after boot up i enter my internet browser to go on the internet it would crash right away. it seems random when it happens.
