When I put my ears next to the left fan of my G73, I hear a weird screeching noise. I also notice that much less hot air comes out of the left fan than out of the right. Does that fan have issues? Should I investigate? What should I do?

If you are concerned about heat there are a variety of applications such as speedfan to look at cpu temps. I would suggest downloading that and one other called gpu-z which will monitor gpu temps.
