After having my ASUS G53SW-A1 for about six months, my screen suddenly (and I do mean suddenly, it happened overnight) developed two vertical lines composed of hundreds or thousands of what I can only assume are stuck pixels.

I have attached a photo of my screen. Can anyone verify if my diagnosis is correct? What might have caused this? Any advice on how to fix it?

I have already tried using the software that flashes different colors on the screen. It didn't help at all.
