Here's a question for those with iPhones.

Currently I have a Macbook Pro, so the syncing of my iPhone is simples!!! Last time I tried on my Win7 64 Bit Desktop trying to get it to see my iPhone was a ball ache, in fact I gave up.

Do you guys have any issues syncing via iTunes on your G73?

AFAIK, you can only sync one laptop with the iphone. If you sync your iphone with anything else but your main computer, it will erase everything on your iphone before it syncs with your new laptop.

Yup, thanks to Apple you can't sync any media besides Apps with more than one Computer.
You can make a full backup though with different computer.

Basically yes, but you have to take the "source" files over to your new machine. With source files I mean the mp3 files, videos and whatever you own. Then on your new pc, you can add all those files again into itunes and then do a sync. This will kill all music, videos, ... on your iPhone and replaces them with what you have on your new pc.
But first you have to plugin your iPhone to the G73, open iTunes and there under File select Transfer Furchases from ....
This will allow you to also synchronize your apps.

I have my "source files" on an external drive so when I swapped laptops I just had to copy over my iTunes folder to the new laptop and syncing was seamless. Everything stayed on my phone from text messages to playlists. One thing to keep in mind is you should deauthorize your old computer in iTunes before transfering to the new laptop. iTunes only allows 5 authorized computers on your account I believe. Freak'n iTunes gives me an iHeadache.

Same here. I copied the iTunes folder over. When you set up your iTunes on the old computer, you were given the option to let iTunes organize your music. If you did this, it moved everything into a crazy directory structure in a folder called iTunes. If you said no to this question, the music is left scattered wherever it was when you added it to your library. In that case you'll have to move all the folders with music to the new computer and some of them may indicate that the source file is not found. I've found that the easiest way to do this is to delete the song names from iTunes and then open Windows Explorer and drag the mp3 files back into iTunes again. That straightens everything up.

Letting iTunes organize the music makes the process of moving to a new computer easier because everything is in one place but iTunes makes a dang folder for every artist and album which is a train wreck if you are trying to do file management because there are so many folders to deal with.

yup! I sync my iphone on both my laptops. Just copy the itunes library files from the primary sync computer to the other and thats it. Now u can play music from ur iphone and add music to it without any issues on either computer.
