    Are there different naming conventions for ASUS laptops in the UK?

    I am looking to buy a G53 and the only 3 models that come up are as follows:


    G53SX-IX122V
    G53SW-IX097Z
    G53JW-IX162V


    Does anyone know what these equate to in terms of the US model names that are discussed on these forums? If they don't equate to other model numbers could someone point me to a place in the UK that I can purchase one of the more talked about models?

    Also which is the best of the G53s? And what are the differences between them?

    the JW has an i7-740qm + GTX460m
    SW: i7-2630qm + 460m
    SX: i7-2630qm/2670qm + 560m (128-bit bus)

    The rest of the model number is down to specs like RAM, screen, HDD etc and that is something you'll have to look for on your own.
