I have the original 93vBios running on my G73JH. I'm looking to update it again for the Overdrive feature.

So I put atiflash, BR38352, fix_od.rom, updateod, and VFlash on the usb stick after using the HPUSBDisk tool and using the win98boot files with the tool.

So when I first type something in do I type Vflash or updateod?

Yes need you od2.bat and fix_od2.rom (or equivalents) on the usb stick and you type od2 once you boot from USB

    Yeah I have updateod.bat not od2.bat

So I'm guessing since I already flashed to v93 bios previously from the original 93vBIOSa folder, I don't need to flash the v93 bios from the 93vBIOS_OD folder? Just run updateod?

Ok I just ran the command updateod in the command prompt when I booted from USB which had those 5 files on the usb drive.

The AMD Overdrive option I now see in the performance tab in Catalyst Control Center, gonna change it to 800/1000 later tonight after I OC the CPU.

No Need to uninstall the 11.6 drivers and reinstall I'm guessing?

I tweaked the AC power settings, plus lowered the battery setting to improve battery life.

Thanks for the link! I only put the 3 files from the folder on the usb and those 3 files only and flashed using the command od2.

Why does the GPU Clock drop down to like 405 in the Amd Overdrive tab where is says Current Values GPU Clock, the Memory Clock stays the same? I have it set to 840/1140.

Ok I saw that also in the CCC overclock video maybe something to ignore?

    Edit: Went back to 800/1100

Powerplay clocks the core at 405MHz when it doesn't detect a program that needs the GPU at full power. When running games, it will clock to whatever it set to be 700/1000 or OC'ed clocks if you set them.

on OD2, the AC idle clocks should be 400, not 405

    I fixed it......

First I thought I might need to reflash, so I added the BR38352 and Vflash to the usb along with the files from the OD2 folder. I probably didn't need to reflash and I'm guessing didn't matter if I added BR38352 and Vlflash to the USB. It was still at 405 after I flashed again.

So I ran uninstalled the 11.6 drivers then ran driver sweeper 3.1.0 in safe mode. Installed 11.6 again and then there was the 400 idle GPU clock before and after changing it to 800/1100.

    Thanks for letting me know!

It's not bad to run the od2 flash twice right?

Glad to hear it is fixed, I have flashed mine at least 4 times with modded OD2 (to lower the battery clocks). You are correct it is not bad to run it multiple times, other than the fact that there is always a slight chance of a bad flash.
