Just came here to give some info on a wireless card I put in my G73JH. There are some other threads about this that are for similar laptops or old threads that are closed, so just putting this here as a FYI since sometimes there is confusion if a card actually works or not. I also included a link to drivers since that also sometimes is a source of confusion.

The card I bought was the Intel Ultimate N 633ANHMW , which has room for a third antenna if you choose to do so (I stuck with just the 2 antennas for now) for 450mbps if your router supports it. I'm connecting this to my Cisco E4200 on the 5ghz band (which you can't do on the stock wireless card - and the point of this post I suppose :) )

Newegg.com - Intel Ultimate N 633ANHMW Ultimate N 633ANHMW Wireless Adapter Mini PCI Express Up to 450Mbps Wireless Data Rates 64/128-Bit WEP, WPA, WPA2

The drivers I used were directly from Intel for Win7 64 bit:

    http://downloadcenter.intel.com/confirm.aspx?httpDown=http://downloadmirror.intel.com/20433/eng/Wireless_14.2.0.10_Ds64.exe&lang=eng&Dwnldid=20433&DownloadType=%0aSoftware+Applications%0a&OSFullname=Windows+7+(64-bit)*&ProductID=3408

If the link changes sometime down the road it will be drivers listed under Intel® Centrino® Ultimate-N 6300.

The card installed easily with no issues and I went from connecting at 54mbps on the 2.4ghz band of my E4200 to 300mbps on my 5ghz band. My E4200 is also running Tomato firmware (Toastman's) because the stock firmware is crap :) .

Hope this helps someone when choosing a wireless card upgrade for their G73JH.

    Thanks,
    eD

I know this is off topic but could you provide a link to the tomato firmware, I was looking a long time for a build for the E4200 but couldn't find one.
