Hello everyone, well I am upgrading my laptop. Long story short, had a nice gaming laptop previously, water fell on it, blew it up. No warranty, thus, now I have this one ... which I want to be prepared for the newer MMOs to be released soon.

    Current Laptop: Satellite E105-S1802

I get by with it, considering I only play MMOs, League of Legends, etc. I do all my FPS, RPG, etc gaming on my PS3 / Xbox 360.

So, my gaming laptop will most likely be strictly MMO based.

Budget: If all is perfect in the world, I would like to spend ~$1000, if I absolutely must go over because the performance upgrade on the laptop will surpass the cost, I will do so.

I am not a huge gamer anymore, but I would like some quality in upcoming games such as Diablo 3, Guild Wars 2, SW:ToR, etc. Not to mention, play Rift.

Which of the Asus series would be the most affordable, and the best bang for my buck?

I have done research over the last day quite thoroughly, so I am in contemplation, however your input with specific laptops and deals will be outstanding. Thank you.

Oh, and I could care less about 3D gaming, I don't need any goofy glasses. So if that component eliminated will reduce my price, go for it. I am not even into 3D movies. Hurt my eyes, ha.

The G53/73 at newegg and amazon are what is closest to your price range. A used one should be below 1K too.
