    1. Can I JUST upgrade the RAM, or do I have to upgrade something else for it to accept the increased RAM?
    2. I read somewhere that the RAM on a G74Sx can be upgraded to as much as 32 gigs on some versions of windows 7, but only 16 gigs with other versions. How can I tell how much RAM my operating system can accept?

If I'm going to upgrade I want to max it out.

    Thanks in advance.
