    Hi all,

Am wanting to get an upgraded wifi card to go with my new upgraded router.

As provantage is pretty reputable I thought I'd get one off them, less chance of getting an engineering sample than ebay.

    I was thinking:

PROVANTAGE: Intel 62230AN.HMWWB Centrino Advanced-N 6230 Wifi Half Mini

Is this the right size etc? And also is the only difference between the 6200 and 6230 that the 6230 has bluetooth? Although I practically never use bluetooth as the cards are the same price seems I may as well get the 6230.

As the g73jh only has 2 antennas I don't see any point getting the 6300.

That card should fit no problem. Just make sure to install the drivers once you install it. You can get the 6300 but would have to install a third antenna as well. That can be alot of work.

yeah i used killer 1102 working fine ,but everytime you boot up you can't see the wifi led turn on......
and killer 1103 need 3 wire for 450Mbps,g73 only have 2 so i choose the 1102

what about adding the 3rd antenna wire and place behind the LCD isnt that going to work as long the best choice is the intel's 6300 will require to add the 3rd antenna wire so that will lead to the same procedure to use the better 1103 bigfoot.

Cheers for the confirmation. No desire to install a third antenna so will go for this one I reckon. I tend to find intel very reliable, so would go that over bigfoot, though that card does look like a great one too.
