    Usb 3.0 in Asus g74sx

    When I got this laptop in the summer, the usb 3.0 port worked fine, then after sometime, it worked less and less often, until it finally stopped working entirely. When something is plugged into it, it receives power, but is not recognized by the computer. I looked at the device manager, and It showed the Fresco Logic Controller running fine, however, the root hub had no drivers. I downloaded and installed the drivers, but the computer still will not recognize them. If anyone could be of assistance, it would be appreciated.
