    Hey guys!
I always play cod mw3 multiplayer on my pc , so I just wanted to try cod mw3 on my asus g73 , but when I adjust the settings to game max , I still see very low graphics , like its not playing with the video adjustments that I made ,
it was supposed to be like crystal clear or damn sharp , but it is not ,
its but hard to define the situation.
do anyone have a fix for it , im playing through steam ,
    thanks

Could you make a screenshot? Maybe that shows the weirdness.

Well, since all CoD games run off Modern Warfare 1's engine, it's going to suck no matter if the options are max'd.

    Nope.

Just set the "image quality" to "native" - problem solved.

Textures and particles suck, not mentioning the lightning >_>

    CoD needs DX11

LOL that setting in MW3 has tripped up so many people. Apparently, having anything other than "native" for image quality will actually render a smaller image and upscale it to fit your screen like the consoles do, which makes the entire game look blurry.

but however the 1600x900 screen suks , because when gaming at that res : graphics wont be much clear for whatever the setting you made ,
so upgrading to 1920x 1080 is the best choice to go , and I guess the new g75's screen would fit g73 , so it would be more awesome , the connector is same, so if im upgrading my next upgrade would be that screen.
    thanks

Just keep in mind that you won't be able to max out all the graphics settings at 1080p if you want to play at a consistent 60 FPS, which I think is optimal for a twitchy shooter like MW3.

Complete non-sense. It's the IW engine. IW - Infinity Ward, the developer of the CoD series. Quake and its engine is by id Software.

I have 2 good friends that work for Respawn.

Its the quake 3 engine with updates. Really only lighting updates but at its core, its still the quake 3 engine and tools. You are 100% incorrect.

(I worked in games for 6 years and am in my second year of feature film VFX)

What he meant was it's a highly highly modified Quake engine. And it's true, Quake code still exists in the IW Engine. Just like Quake code still exists in Valve's Source engine.
