So i just flashed the vbios on my G73JH, and im having troubles re-installing drivers, I got 10.12 on there fine at first, but CCC didn't work so I uninstalled and have been trying to reinstall but always to the issue the video driver doesn't install, but all others do, im thinking iv borked the card.

Rolling back 5 days did nothing, installing ASUS's ghetto old driver also did nothing, any questionable or ideals? If I return to my local reseller for replacement i'll probably end up with a Nvidia 460M model.

    Thanks, ToXic.

you have to download this one

    ATI Catalyst? Mobility Display Driver

all other downloads, while they may contain CCC and everything else, do not contain the video driver

If that is the one you used, did you try driver sweeper then reinstall?

I did download those, I got install completed with some errors, it was driver failed... A random rollback temp recovered them, need to get 10.12 back on and CCC to work.

    1) Uninstall your ATI stuff.
    2) Sweep with Driver Sweeper 2.8.0
    3) Grab Catalyst 10.12 RC3 Hotfix and install.

If the CCC fails again, uninstall and sweep again, and then Run the installer, but do a Custom Install, and install the DRIVERS ONLY. Reboot, and then install CCC by itself. Reboot, and add anything else you need.

Will do thanks! Also thanks for the vbios!

Although the 460m sounds tempting... Just downloading mod now, need to sweep off current when its done downloading.

Back up and functioning at 10.12 with CCC running.

Its funny I know my way around a desktop so well, yet dont know about laptops for the most part...
