    Hi,
Today I reinstalled Vista. I put it's driver disc an installed the drivers. Everything works perfect except for the Wireless connection. I can't find any connecttions even though the router is just 2m away, and my phone can pick it up just fine...
When i go Diagnose it tells me "windows can't find any wireless networks in range of this computer"...
    the wlan switch is on...
    any help,pls?

If you have advanced security set up on your router, you problably need to 'set up a connection' from the Network and Sharing Center within vista.
On mine I needed to put in a flock of setings as follows from the router security page:

    SSID: xxxxxx
    Security: WPA - PSK
    WPA Shared Key: xxxxxxxxx
    Channel: 6
    Frameburst Mode: OFF
    SSID Broadcast: Disabled
    MAC Authentication: Disabled
Wireless Mode: Mixed: accepts 802.11b and 802.11g connections

    Packets Received: 13178

    Good luck, Josea
