The volume controls usually control only the default sound output device. Type 'Manage audio devices' in the start menu to set it. But why would you want that? You'd get the best fidelity if you control the sound on the TV itself.

It's mainly the volume controls that I want to work because I can't control the audio from my remote and I don't feel like getting up to turn down the surround sound system (yes yes very lazy i know :p.)

But before I had reinstall my Windows 7 I remember it working before on both HDMI and the speakers.

Is there anyway to get the hotkey to work with the hdmi audio again?

    Up!

Hi! I have the same problem like you Yugo19 on my K52Ju notebook

I've installed the last version of ATKpackage (1.0.0009), changed the default output audio device, but I can only control the volume with hotkeys for the laptop's speakers and headphones. It still doesn't work for HDMI, neighter for my bluetooth speakers.

If someone have an idea to make it works...

    (Sorry for my english)
