So as of now I'm having problems deciding whether or not to send my laptop for RMA in Indiana(which I heard is the worst of all asus repair facilities). I have 2 major problems and 1 minor problem with my laptop. The 2 major problems are:
1. My laptop LCD Screen is cracked.(can't see anything on screen apart from white and black ink spills).
2. My HDD just starts having high activity when I open certain programs causing my laptop to be extremely slow. (this started to happen after I did a clean install of windows).
My last but minor problem is that my charger isn't working.
I have already received my RMA No. but I am hesistating to send it to the Asus repair facility in Indiana because I'm afraid they would be out of stocks of spare parts(mostly because there in the middle of nowhere next to a river) and it might take up to 2-4 week for them to fix it and also I have heard rumors that sending it to there results to more problems. Also I'm in college and I need this laptop ASAP.
Also I think ASUS has an LCD Repair Center wouldn't it have been wiser for the customer service rep to have told me to send it there?
What do you guys think?

Asus LCD repairs are only for their (desktop) monitors as far as I know. I don't think they would be able to service your laptop LCD. You can probably request a new RMA # for a different facility if you are concerned about Indiana. If you have a local ASP ( look here) you can call them up and see if they can give you an estimate on how long it would take with parts, etc.
