Like some others, I'be been having issues with my webcam. It's not there. It's not showing up in the device manager, and if I try to update the drivers for the webcam (any version),
the application doesn't recognize anything either. I've used the webcam before, so I think something got disconnected within the case at some point or another.

So, has anyone else had this issue? I've looked through the forums, but no luck. Either way, is this something that I could fix myself?
I'm not opposed to opening up the case myself, but I don't want to do it if I'm not going to be able to fix anything.
    Thanks
    Edit: G73JW by the way.

Use something like HWINFO32, which will list all the stuff you have connected to your laptop. The webcam should be under one of the USB hub categories. If you can't find anything that looks like your webcam, it is probably dead or disconnected.

Checked it using HWiNFO32 and the device manager, nothing on any of the USB hubs. I figure it probably got disconnected since it seemed to be working just fine beforehand. This should be something I can go in and put back in place myself, right? If so, what am I looking for?
