I updated my vBios as the guide in this topic . My Asus had no longer have BSOD when playing games even when I maxed out the options . So happy with my fixed asus , I downloaded some games and left it all night . In the morning , I saw the lights were off . So I hit the start button . Its weird that the screen of the asus didnt appear anything eventhough the lights were on . I thought I forgot to turn on the screen so I hit FN + F7 but it didnt work . Please help me :( .

IF you connect an external monitor does the G73 display on it?

Power off, Remove AC Adaptor, Battery, Hold power button for 30 seconds.

    Wait..........

Battery back in, Ac adaptor back in and boot.

If not try it on an external display.

If you can see it on an external display the drive sweep and roll back to a standard vga adaptor and install the latest drivers.

If it booted fine after you flashed the Vbios and the screen was working fine then it is not a bad flash, when ROM is ROM'd it can only change by another flash.

If you can get the screen up and think its the Vbios then just flash it again. From scratch dont use the USB stick you used before format it and start again.

I think it could be your computer going into hibernation this is a killer for G73's for some reason, diabolical facility hibernation switch it straight off and dont use it along with sleep.

Have you tried the power outage thing I mentioned above and if you are able to reset the CMOS battery if you know what your doing.

RMA is really the last ditch thing you want to try but if nothing works it might be best without attempting a blind flash.

I got my asus repaired at a store and they said that my asus had a broken main board . In order to fix I had to pay for a new one about $200 . I don't know if the main board was the one causing that ploblem ? Because I thought it was the Ram which caused it . What do you guys think ?

I do not know, since you had it serviced locally, and without your serial number, I cannot check if you were within warranty.
