I'm getting very odd audio from my g53sw... Started a couple of weeks ago and only really happened once, so i didn't think much of it. Then, I got Skyrim yesterday and it's happening fairly often. It sounds like a long, drawn out, deep buzzing or humming, and it's extremely irritating to have to restart the computer when I know there should be a good fix. I installed the latest sound drivers moments ago, thinking that would solve it, but unfortunately it did not. (Also, the sound comes from the computer, it doesn't go through my external speakers) If anyone has any suggestions or knows of a fix I would be greatly indebted.

    Thanks

Are you sure it's coming from the laptop speakers and not the fans running on full blast?

Yes, absolutely. It's really more of a sound distortion when it does audio playback. Similar to this, but obviously not affecting bioshock. Someone please help, it's extremely frustrating.

Yup. Reinstall windows. You tried reinstalling the audio drivers, didn't you?
