    Well this bites, my G51VX-RX05's DC power jack is burned out...

    Since I bought my model from tiger direct along with a one year warranty, will they cover me? Sorry for my newbness.

    I haven't done anything to the laptop, had it for a month and a half.

    When I plugged in a compatible AC, the screen kept flickering from AC mode to battery mode within a time frame of 2-3 seconds. Then I turned off the notebook and looked at the power jack. It looks burned out...

    Hi, thanks for the reply man. Well, I'm looking at my order page, and notice a different company for my warranty. Should I call Banker's Warranty Group or Asus themselves?
