    I still like this computer. I'm gonna need to figure out how to clean it (completely, I think there's something stuck in the heat pipe and the fan makes a loud noise)

    Yeah. I've done that once a few months ago.


    I think my main problem is that you can't really get into the fan with the G1 without removing the heat pipe.

    so all the dust I expect to be underneath the fan isn't really removable without taking apart more of the computer than I am comfortable with.


    ..at least til I have a new one

    I had reached that temperature with my ASUS A8Js (actually, I hit 98C before it shutting down itself)
    Anyway, try use smaller brush to reach the inside of the fan can.
