    What is the Best Buy warranty on the G73JH?

    Sorry if this has been talked about, I couldn't find it in any threads. I read somewhere that Asus 2 year standard warranty is void if you bought the Best Buy version. And the 1 year Accidental is also void. I've looked at all my paper work, on the best buy website. There is nothing that covers what the warranty is for this machine.

    Anyone know the real answer?

    Look on the bottom of the machine! The model number sticker should show that you have a 12 month warranty if it is a Best Buy model.

    Yes, the BB models carry a different warranty coverage from the standard reseller models -- always have... between that and the slightly lower specs are how they lower the price. The warranty isn't void, it's just that those models have different terms.

    For BB models, the warranty is 12 months through BBuy, and no Accidental Damage warranty.

    I wanted to. But I returned a almost 1 year old G51vx for keyboard replacement and BestBuy said just pick a new one or get a store credit. They wouldn't give me a cash refund. Believe me I tried! I still can't complain though.

    Do you have the part number for your Hanns?

    I'm excited. I'm going to go romance Alistair in Dragon Age on my new screen. :D

    LOL I know, I love this game! I started playing Awakenings, and their brief scene so far with Alistair calling my character his wife and giving her a peck on the cheek before he left, I was like is that? lol. I want more then a peck damnit!
