You can go to the Asus support website and download all the drivers for any of their laptops

ASUS does list drivers on their website, BUT that does NOT mean they list Windows 7 drivers -- which is the situation I am trying to avoid -- to buy an ASUS G-Series laptop, format it with Windws 7 - only to find out to that the drivers are not available for Windows 7.

So, again, what as the last ASUS G-Series Laptop that can be formatted with Windows 7 and and has Windows 7 drivers available?

The g74sw list drivers for both windows 7 and 8.1? Those should be pretty close to the last 7 drivers, no?
