Ive got my Targus 180w adapter and I have absolutely nothing to do with the stock 150w. Its completely unusable. It broke because the metal tip (the part that inserts into the laptop) completely came off and for some stupid reason i thought i could seat it back in and decided to cut some of the plastic tip off...well long story short, the metal tip is missing and the plastic end that surrounds it is completely gnarled.
So I basically have a brick. It would still work and be of some value to an experienced electrician but for the majority, its useless....
...but im an optimist so i ask you guys, what can be done with it?

buddy, throw it away its not worth the hassle

Keep the cable that goes from the outlet to the PSU though, it might come in handy at some point. For example if you get a new notebook and they supply you with a ridiculously short 2ft cable.

Buy an identical plug from ebay or wherever and replace it, shouldn't be too hard. Will leave you with a nice replacement PSU.

Radio Shack, Fry's, etc. will sell you a plug with pigtails that you can splice in. Look around.
What to do with broken stock g73jh PSU?
