    where do you live??

    You can also have it shipped to where you live from the US e-tailer's like xoticpc and gentechpc

    In India, are you joking me? People on average in India cant afford laptop so expensive. Is it same version with american keyboard?

    I am European living in south Thailand, near the malaysia border

    You may import the unit but it will take additional fees and so so so many miscellaneous fee depending in your country.

    ok that's offensive, I'm Indian and i own a g73jh...

    anyway looking past the racism, i guess your best bet would be getting it shipped from the US, since you're a foreigner i'm guessing you won't have to deal with duty if you can get it shipped to the embassy, this way it'll be cheaper than the asian price.

    i am sorry, but it is true, not many people can affford this in India, they dont have it in Malaysia, there the sallaries are bigger.

    total rip off if you buy from local suppliers in Malaysia, expect markup prices of about 40-50%, and they don't keep stocks, they order from asus.

    might as well buy from any US reseller and eat the shipping fees, hopefully your country doesn't tax laptop imports.

    some singapore resellers sell em too

    Definitely get it from the US resellers. They're cheapest even after shipping (not sure about customs tho).

    Your best bet would be to order from a US online site....shipping shouldn't be too many chinadollars.

    i want to order from best buy, they sell g72 for only 1200 dolarres

    I was just checking hidevolution.com
    they sell g72 for 1750 usd, in usa in bestbuy you get it for 1200 usd, same specs, I guess I will be travelling to usa soon. I am not ordering by mail and paying double price, rather buy a ticket and go to miami for few days

    I personally would use GenTechPC, however there are other respectable resellers that lurk these forums. :) Always ...ALWAYS buy gaming laptops from the US. Cheapest place in the world to buy them.
