I need something other than the stock LEDs to verify that the mobo is receiving power. I have a multimeter ready, but haven't been able to find an answer as to where to use it haha.
Background is my laptop has a corrupted BIOS, which is why I can't use the stock LEDs.

I'm looking for something a little further downstream, like actually on the mobo. I know my power brick is good, as I've tested it w/ my G74.

Read the tutorial, it says to test both the adapter and the connection at the motherboard. -

I was just looking on ebay for a bga reball service for the g73 and found a place that will reprogram your bios if you bricked your computer with a bad bios update.
It's only $99 with free return shipping. I figure it's worth a shot.
