I am thinking of the g50vt-x1 upgrade to the 260m, where is the best place to pick up the 260m? i've been watching ebay for a while and all that shows up there is usually the 9800m or the normal mxm 260m's

Edit: miss understood question, doing research post later.

Edit 2: I can't find any, maybe you should just ultra overclock you 9800m.

I bought one on there as a 'G60vx video card'. Ebay listings arent always described as the thing youre looking for. Try searching for G51vx or G60vx in the search box as well as "GTX 260m". One will pop up eventually. I managed to get an AMAZING deal on mine; bought it for $110 shipped, but you just need to keep checking that good ole ebay. When i bought mine, the same week, two others popped up on there for ~$220 or so, so its a gamble on the times and prices. Just remain vigilant. :]

Physical shape is only half the battle. You have to deal with BIOS compability as well.

Besides, the 4650 would be a step down from the 9800m G[T]S.
