So I was pleasantly surprised to find out my laptop was made in Taiwan....I guess they still have some factories left?

    Anyone else?

Yes. If you have to buy stuffs from Chinese people, it is better that it is made from Hong Kong or Taiwan. They have better quality control.

OP, please do tell how I find out. I would of thought the label would have a "made in", but the only label I can see right now is on the Newegg pic and no dice.

    Thanks

check your box, or on the label affixed on the bottom of your laptop.

It may say "Assembled in..." instead of "Made in..."
