    Which Asus to choose

    Im rdy to buy my very first laptop. So I found a laptop, which I would love to get, but its not avaible in my countrys shops :(
    So there are other 2 models avaible, but I wanted to know the actully difference between these laptops, to be shure what to get.

    1. Asus G60Jx with i5 cpu, 360 geforce, 4GB ram DDR3
    2. Asus G60V (or is it Vx?): Core 2 Duo P7450, 4GB ram DDR2 800Mhz, 260Geforce
    3. Asus G51Vx: Core 2 Duo P7350, 4GB Ram DDR2 800Mhz, 260Geforce

    The price difference isnt much, G51=1250$, G60V = 1345$, G60Jx=1441$

    What are the differences, what I will feel when using these laptops? I want to play games...
    Whats energy compstume for core 2 due compared to i5? and ram ddr2 compared to ddr3 ?

    What other things are there what I should know when buying laptop? I probably will buy it for next few years, so I want it to be a good laptop.

    If you want to play games, look at the G73 series. Better price vs performance ratio.

    Or you can hold off till the G53 makes its appearance if you want/need to stay in the 15" area.

    G73 is to expensive, 750Lats (or G60Jx price) is max I can afford!
    Maybe theres another gaming laptops in price like G60Jx? With a good Graphic card (better than 5650 radeon as most laptops)

    Cant wait much, need laptop in school...

    get that than.. u won't be able to afford the european G73 BB anyways... get the G60JX... best deal.

    I really liked the g51vx. No need to worry about turboboost and the aggressive up/down clocking of the i series processors in a chassis that gets so hot (as the g51 and g60 tends to do.

    On the other hand ... newer technology is generally better...

    unfortunly, it was avaible only in 3 internet shops. 2 of them already told that they are out of these, and they cannot get one. Waiting and hoping for third to answer...


    Mybe theres some other laptops in same price range, with geforce 260/360 video card ?

    Anyone knows which shop I can buy asus G60Jx with i5 processor in europe? New (not refurbished, dont belive in those)
