I'v heard, that Cooler Master SF-19 is the most effective(best). Is that true? or there is a better one? (cooling pad),
Lets say, I use Cooler Master SF-19, without it, the temps are 70C, how will the cooling pad effect?
Thanks![]()

The G series machines from ASUS have the best cooling systems I have seen from any of the notebooks. With the way the machine vents, most notebook coolers will not make a huge difference when it comes to the temps as far as I have seen. It obviously never hurts to have a notebook cooler, but with the G series it isn't usually necessary.

Yes you have a point, but still, cooling pad can help with 1~5C at least...

The only reason I use a pad with my 74sx is to raise the built-in vents just a notch when on my lap. I seriously doubt the cooler itself makes any difference at all. Coming from a MacBook Pro I must say I'm delighted with the temps on the ASUS even without cooler...

The cooling pad on its own wont do nothing. I get 8oC drop when I am doing a full burn in because of my cooling pad but I cant just stick the cooling pad underneith it and hope for the best, I have to remove the maintenance panel and stick my Storm SF-19 directly under the opening fire it upto 2700RPM on both fans (which sounds like a jumbo jet) which then force air directly into the GPU.
The G73 main vents are the back the tiny slits in the bottom of the casing allow minimal air intake. I had the Zalman stealth 3000U before and trust me even with one large fan running at 1500rpm the cooler make a couple of degree's difference if that.
Get one if like me you have your laptop on your bed because they are useful for clearance to the rear vents but if not put it towards an SSD.
Which Cooling pad is the best for G53sw/G73sw/G53sx/G74sx?
