Ok so I have been a lurker on here for a about a year, but finally created an account. I now have a desktop capable of handling any games at max, but I still need a laptop for debate/gaming on the go. It wouldn't be used too often for gaming, but for microsoft word/ internet explorer would be the main thing. Also storage doesn't matter as I can get some 2.5s cheaply and reinstall OS. I would like to keep it under 800 or so the lower = the sooner I get it.
It needs to be able to run:
    Minecraft lolz
    WoW
    CoD 4 and 7
    TF2
I was looking at something like:
    Newegg.com - Recertified: ASUS G Series G60VX-RBBX05 NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo P7450(2.13GHz) 16" 4GB Memory DDR2 800 320GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M
    or
    Newegg.com - Recertified: ASUS G Series G73JH-RBBX05 NoteBook Intel Core i7 720QM(1.60GHz) 17.3" 6GB Memory DDR3 1066 500GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870
I like the 60 for its smaller size, but the g73 is just a little more and the 5870 and it looks much better/cooling system is better.
Also any deals would help too.
I do not care if it is recertified just cheap and good.
    P.S. isn't the 260m better than the gts 360?
    Thanks,
    Lane :)

Avoid "RBBX" models, as they don't come with the "Accidental Protection Warranty" which covers spills, fires, electrical surges, and drops.

Is it worth $600 for just the warranty and a higher res screen?

The G73 refurb will do just fine. If newegg offers it, you should get a protection plan.

Thanks I'll look into the plan I saw something like that on there. Also what case (backpack preferably) should I get? It would be nice if my AD700s fit in there too, but they're massive and fragile. If any of you like insane quality sound look for these some of the best for gaming ( Product Details.
What about a sound card for this beast?
    Thanks,
    Lane
