    E3 2010: E3 2010 Stage Demo: Crysis 2

    I'm so excited!!
I know that the minimum requirements haven't been released yet but I hope that my G73JH can handle this game at 1600 X 900 at max settings.

I do have a M17X with 5870M's in Crossfire but still have a soft spot close to my heart for my G73JH :)

Crysis Warheard runs fantastic with Enthusiast settings and 4xAA. If that game is the closet we have to go off of then we should be fine. My fingers are crossed.

Considering it's coming out for the PS3 and XBOX I think it should run fine.

Fine defined as without AA, at Med-High, with a max of 35fps most likely. :)

I think they already mentioned that the hardware req. would be the same or less then the original. Thats kinda understandable being that there wont be all the palm trees and foliage bringing it down.

If Asus fixes the GSOD issue, it would definetly run great on Ati 10.6 drivers.
It gave me an FPS boost from 34 to 57 FPS in DiRT 2 compared to the Asus stock drivers but the day after the update i started to get GSOD's too, and then for some reason my mobo broke for the second time without any form of warning.

I'm sorry to hear that you have GSOD issues. I have yet to experience GSOD on my current(3rd G73). Would I be safe to think that my G73JH(see specs in sig) would be able to handle this at a decent FPS with high settings at my native res of 1600 x 900?

The fact that it's out for consoles doesn't mean too much for PC users. Consoles are DX9. PC users will be using DX11. Different ball game. The g73 will be fine. At max settings? Doubtful. At "pretty" settings? Most likely.

It still looks incredible with whatever DX version they use.

Crysis and Crysis Warhead were nice. :)
It is exciting that a new one from my beloved game series is coming out. :D

Crysis was know to be resources hungry.
Crytek was saying that Crysis 2 should require less resources.
We will only know when it comes out.

Maybe they want to time it with the release of new ATI Southern Islands cards. ;)

Don't think so, Pc will have better graphics for sure. Probably it will run smoothly on medium settings.
