It says that I need to register within 60 days after I purchased it or else it would be void. I tried MANY TIMES registering online my ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE PROTECTION (ADP) my ASUSG53SX which i bought last 6/28/2012 but keeps failing with ASUS posting

"Unfortunately, we are unable to process your request at this time. Please try again and if the problem persists, please contact our registration support at [email protected] for further assistance."

I have been trying to register for the past 5 days but to no avail, can any of the asus people here help me with this? I also emailed them at "[email protected]" No reply. PLEASE HELP ME people with asus laptops :)

I also tried again and this showed up " Sys.webforms.pagerequest managerserverrorexcetion: An unknown error occured while processing the request on the server. The status code returned from the server was :0"

Great after 5 days of trying I got this. Am I screwed coz I bought this at bestbuy?

    Hi Mike,

Normally a second warranty goes into effect after the manufacturers warranty expires. Not sure how bestbuys works.

What I did was to go here.
    ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support-

Click on the member tab, register, and then added my laptop. Give that a try and let us know how it goes.

I just received a G75VW from Amazon today and had no trouble registering it for the Accidental Damage warranty. I'm a previous ASUS customer, tho, so I signed in to an established account, maybe that makes a difference. I registered the new machine first, then went back and followed the instructions for the Accident warranty.

I know the ASUS servers can get very busy, however, so it might be that. Keep trying and/or call as Groceries suggested. But as of midday today (7/5) everything was working as expected.

Unless something changed, BestBuy laptops do not qualify for this warranty type.

Lets hope I am wrong, but this was the case 18 month ago...

^ Oh, good call. I missed the last line of the OP.

Yeah, you don't get ADW coverage from Best Buy. See the sidebar here:

@Cylphid I already registered on the first day I got my laptop

Anyway, my dad who bought this laptop said he paid 300 dollars for 2 more years of warranty. My asusg53x only has a 12 month warranty . Im not sure if my dad made the right move or not. Anyway I logged in and clicked on the left EXTENDED WARRANTY SERVICE, and it was asking for my warranty card and it was asking for my CONTRACT CODE OF WARRANTY CARD and PASSWORD FROM WARRANTY CARD. Problem is I cant seem to find those 2 in the notebook warranty card. And Im guessing this is different from the Accidenta; warranty the warranty card is asking me to register with online?

@Hrogi May I ask, what do you mean by BEST BUY Laptops dont qualify for this warranty? My dad paid an extra 300 dollars for an extra 2 years warranty since this laptop on sticker only has a 12month warranty written on it

Sorry about that mike - the asus link you have posted threw me, I bet Boo Boo is correct.

Bestbuy ALWAYS offers a supplemental warranty, and in my experience it actually isn't bad at all.

Might be a good idea to re-visit the store, or give their online support a call for confirmation.

I just asked my dad and most likely its bestbuy. Thanks guys, my dad is actually a pilot and he has a flight back there in Canada at the end of the month. The bestbuy store is just 2 blocks away from his their hotel he'l ask about it I guess, but Il try contacting bestbuy. But still, going back to my original question, What about the accidental damage protection? Icant succesfully register it coz its always busy, and I only have a span of 60 days according to the warranty book.
