This has probably been asked before, but I'm just wondering if the ASUS G73SW-3DE supports WiDi?

Nope, none of the G73SWs will have it as there is no optimus.

Hustady from Xotic PC told me the LT DOES support WiDi...

This is now one of the options under the External Displays:

ASUS WiCast Wireless HDMI 1080p (Go to a External HDMI Display Wirelessly!)

From what I've read, WiDI will work with Intel Advanced-N 6200 Wireless card, and some software plus a WiDI receiver. Doesn't seem like it NEEDs the integrated GPU on the Sandybridge CPUs.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. But the core component appears to be the WIFI card.

While I don't have any experience with WiDi, the Intel website does specifically state that Intel HD graphics is required.

    Intel Wireless Display

Weird, since the SW doesn't let you use the Intel HD Graphics chip on the CPU.
