I ordered the above system from XoticPC as I mentioned in my other thread. I'm very excited to receive my customized system, but was wondering if overclocking the 460m will be possible? I know XoticPC offered overclocking, but I'm wary of OC'ing that I don't do myself (I like to be involved in the process and measure the changes step by step).

In this system, will it be possible? Do any of you guys have experience OCing the 460m in the previous i7-740 G53?

I think the latest MSI Afterburner (really just Rivatuner), supports overclocking the 460M. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. It's safe as long as you run benchmarks testing for stability everytime you adjust the clocks. It shouldn't cause any damage even if it does freeze as you're not adjusting the voltage.
