Thinking about purchasing an Asus notebook. Looks like xoticpc has some pretty good reviews. Anyone have any issues dealing with them or is all good?
Also, has anyone had xoticpc price match computerupgrade king?![]()
Thanks!

If you get a customized laptop, especially in regards to CPU upgrades, always remember that if you need warranty service, send it back to your retailer first. They need to remove the custom parts before sending to Asus for service, else you will lose your upgrades should Asus feel they need to replace the unit. I had a few headache cases like this involving XoticPC.
I'd also suggest looking at GentechPC. My experiences with Ken have been great. -
eBay Feedback Profile for computerupgradeking
Any price anyone ever gives you on a system (excluding Sager), we will beat it by 1%. Therefore, if you feel compelled to get a quote from someone that matches or beats our price then just take it back to us for the extra discount. You see, we are forced to sell higher than we would like with many of the manufacturers because of MAP policy and we can afford to provide you additional discount that noone can touch. For example our credit card price for Alienware M18x Dual 680M is $2879 (MSRP $3099) and XoticPC price is $2999.
P.S. Why were you so compelled to shop our price around anyway? Did you have a bad experience or is it just a assumption that our company is not as reputable as XoticPC.
