So... hello guys, everything went smooth so far with my G73, besides this little annoying problem:
Now it has happened twice, let me explain:3
The first time it happened that while trying to OC the CPU the sistem froze, once forcing the power off and turning it on again, the system showed a quick blue screen and could not find the SSD, so it could not boot up....
All I could do was to do a recovery install since I had few files and I wanted to get rid of some bloat I already had on it...
I also run a memory scan error and it reported nothing... so I thought of a bad freeze and nothing else...
Few moments ago anyway, while playing some MP3 with itunes the whole sistem froze, with an annoying sound, and at the start up...
it did it again, it could not LOAD the sistem up....
And It cannot even repair it....
This time I had windows 7 restore point enabled, so I restored the system back to an earlier version, but it still failed to load up and showed that blue screen for not even one second, so all I know is it that there should be some hardware failure, but I can't read what...
I'm currently run a full memory scan check, and still not errors have been reported...
while googling on the web I found some infos:
Support Question SSD Not recognized after Windows 7 crash
(yes, mine is NOT an OCz vertez SSD, but the solution should be similar?)
What do you think guys?
I would like to know how to test the SSD, just to check if it is a phisical problem, yet I don't know how...
Then what do you think could have caused the issue?
I would like to stop having a simple freeze and have to reinstall everything everytime it happens...
After It finishes the memory scan check I think I'll try to remove all the power from the laptop and wait for a while before trying to load it up again...
