    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone else has had a problem like this. I have a Wireless headset that I was using while playing Starcraft 2. Everything seems to work fine with starcraft 2. i.e game music comes out laptop speakers and voice goes to the headset. But when I try to set up a steam chat no mater what way I configure it the voice always comes out the main speakers.

Sorry its kinda late so if anything does not make sense just ask.

Computer - G73JH and everything is updated to the newest drivers

    Thanks for the help

i have had this issue with other applications. The fix can be one of several things...
First set your headset as the "default" sound device in windows. This way whenever it is connected, all apps that use the "default" device will use it.

if not, try specificly choosing the headset as the sound device in steam....
