    Hi there.

I brought a refurbished Asus g73jh for newegg about a year ago. It served me perfectly other than some heating problems which didn't necessarily go into dangerous zones (very rarely during gaming).

I leave it overnight so it can download a game, and I wake up today with it turned off. The AC adapter doesn't have a light on. The laptop doesn't have any light on. I try turning it on - nothing. I try inserting the battery without the AC - nothing.

What can be wrong with it? It worked perfectly so far? Did something fry? The fact that AC doesn't work - does that tell me that there was a power outage and it fried the whole thing?+

EDIT: Figured it out. It was indeed the AC. Laptop works after messing with the battery. Now gots to buy me a new adapter -_-

Do check the fuse in the adaptor if it is not a molded plug. Could be that simple.

Sounds like the AC adapter went wrong, and the battery ran dry after that.
