Here are proper 10.10C. After being notified of what is wrong with the previous 10.10c modification, the creator has used 10.10C desktop as the base and modified all the files needed including the .msi files. MLAA, Surface Optimization, New Catalyst AI are working. Hydravision, Avivo, Drag and Drop are all included.

Do not install the 10.10 App Profile from AMD's website. The profile settings in these drivers are newer than the 10.10 App Profile.

Unlike his previous attempts and KillerSneak's DNA 10.10C, these do not need any modification for driver enforcement, no test mode, no nothing. So again, Guru3D proves KillerSneak is wrong, it is possible to mod desktop drivers to run properly on mobile.

And unlike DNA drives, these are straight up 10.10c, no additional useless tweaks that were made for dx9 cards 3 years ago.

I'm uploading to Zippyshare now, since they give you full speed for free without waiting. Here is Mediafire now, the link to Megaupload wasn't working but I'll add it anyways.

Hydravision has been updated with Hydragrid which allows you to split your screen into grids which you can place your applications. Want perfect split screen for writing your paper with word and Adobe PDF journal article? Hydragrid does this for you!

When you have your application in window mode, and press ALT and then click the maximize button, it will add to the grid. Or you can just click the left top of the application window where you can close etc, the Hydragrid options been added, there, that's what I use.

Lovely. Installed and works as advertised.

+rep for the struggle you maintained in the other 10.10 thread, persevering and still coming back to post these drivers.

Could the expert share instruction for installing this? I have stock 10.10 currently so I will have to do a clean install, driver sweep then load this up straightaway? Thanks!

Tried them out, and loaded fine altho I also got the unsigned driver notice. Booting is fine however. My only question is where is the MLAA setting? I've looked thru the options and I don't see it...?

    Vantage benchmark results.

    On 10.6 = P8279
    On 10.8 = P8270
    On 10.10 = P8232
    On these 10.10c = P8304

I'm having an issue playing back WMV files with the new 10.10 drivers. The WMV-9/VC-1 playback component causes .wmv files to fully utilize the GPU and locks-up my computer.

Proper playback isn't possible at all on lowered i.e idle clocks. :/ Only at 700/1000 does the video play properly.

A big thank you for these!....I am trying them as soon as download is complete.....any drivers besides original always lock my computer or screen flashes......hope these are great.....Thanks for all your hard work... :)

Well so far I haven't had a single issue.....and my games seem to be improved quite a bit....so a BIG thanks again and hopefully I won't have to update for quite a while... :)....ok back to testing... :)

Looks like its not just WMV files, but all video files. Strangely, it only affects Media Player Classic. :/

I have CCCP installed, and everything has worked fine until this driver install.

That said though, games work well, and the MSAA beautifying is really noticed in JC2.

    Edit: Affects VLC too lol

So since the official mobility drivers have been available on the AMD site for a week already, I'm curious why this thread has popped up today.

I mean, what real advantages are there to this over downloading from AMD?

    As per the first post,
Update, my videos don't work in players like MPC, WMP and VLC but works as normal in J.River Media Center (my preferred media player). They all use the same codecs, so its not a codec issue. :/

Bah, I'm running out of ideas.

Whereas I don't have MPC, I do have VLC player and I watched 20 minutes of an AVI and MP4 file with no problems. I don't have any codec packs installed. How long did it take to lock up? Should I run the files longer?

Can someone tell me the difference between stock G73Jh driver and this 10.10c...

I had 10.10beta and it showed much better that the final driver...GSOD in the WHQL 10.10,and now I am back to stock!

Should I update it to this 10.10c?

It start stuttering 2 or 3 seconds in. Well, if it isn't a problem with the driver, then its an isolated local problem on my end.

Have to start uninstalling/installing from scratch to eliminate the issue. :/

Thanks for the feedback anyways. Much appreciated.

You had problems with these drivers? What kind of problem exactly? GSOD,Freeze, periodically lock ups or complete freeze of system?

Did you have some problems with stock drivers?

Oh lol, I got my video issues fixed. Turns out disabling MLAA restores my videos playback back to normal, and turning them on and using them in conjunction with DXVA turns playback into a heavy GPU utilizing lagfest.

    I can sleep happy now.

he kinda says it doesnt he? His laptop freezes, and ctrl+alt+del doesnt work, so he has to hard reboot. And since he's going back to stock clocks, i assume these didnt freeze .. Don't panic :D Mine also locks up sometimes, but i don't worry, since the tech. these days have a way of doing that.. And there are numerous reasons why ur laptop would freeze, one of them being the new CCC..
I would say, just test them, if they don't work out for you, just drop back to your stock ones, or the ones you previously had. ;)

I totally knew it was possible to do this without working about driver signature enforcement.

I had working 10.10A hacks long time ago that worked without that method.

Though all the 10.10's except WHQL (the only one without MLAA) mess up Starcraft 2 for me (just mostly the pylon power is messed up)

I have never had any problems with the stock drivers and these 10.10c ones worked great....I noticed a big difference in my games.......and the issue I had after testing was while playing MW2 my screen went black and there was a weird buzzing from either the harddrive or something else......then I did a hard reboot after ctr+alt+delete didn't work and my computer froze again at startup and I could do nothing but a hard reboot again.......once back in windows I rolled back driver and no problems at all. Also it is great to have these updated drivers and people willing to help out but we really need Asus to update the drivers so they work for everyone without issues.....thx

Im sorry guys I am confused. You're telling me that when I go to AMD's website and search for the notebook drivers that are on their site for the G73jh. They will not work?

this laptop needs altered drivers to work with the mobility chip?

Also I downloaded the AMD GPU Tool version 9.26 and it will not display temperatures when i start it. I have stock Vbios with 10.5 catalyst drivers.

You have to update your vBios if you want to use ANY driver other than the one that came pre-installed/ on the driver disc.

    Period.

Hi I installed the modded 10.10c driver on my G73JH and I installed AMD GPU Clock Tool to try some OC (never do it before) but it says 'Failed: no valid devices found' even when I tried run it as admin. I assume this is due to the unofficial driver so anyone has a workaround for this?

Sorry josh22, but the only proven way to fix GSODs like you are having on ALL driver sets is to install the new VBIOS that Gary/Chastity posted in the sticky. Give that a try won't you?

Josh, I just updated two days ago and for the last two days I've done nothing but beat my machine with gaming to see if the problem is gone.

In two days, I've seen nothing but good things. The newest drivers are your best way to ensure you have the best performance your computer can provide and the vBIOS is the only real way to make sure you get there.

I've been asking around and looking around for people who have not had luck with the new vBIOS and I have seen nothing. I've seen the odd time where people report GSOD's again, but that's due to overclocking (and in IMHO (as an overclocking veteran on PCs) I find to be a little more than risky :)).

Go ahead man, give it a shot. You'll be happy you did. I am, and I just bought my G73JH-X3 on MONDAY.

    :)
