This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Getting ready to purchase the Tiger G73 version and want to put a Momentus xt in the main bay. Can anyone fill me in on the steps I need to take to complete this?

    First boots things ? Recovery disks? Do i need a windows 7 disk? etc etc

    Bios changes?

    Coming up with a way to mount the spare hard drive (thinking I'll get creative with stuff from Home depot...)

    removing bloatware. Think I found most of this on other threads, but would love any input.

    Basically I am replacing an Asus M51SN-X2 that the 9500gs died in shortly after I installed a new OEM Win7 on...and was 4mo out of warranty...man I have bad luck. I got it on auction on Ebay atm.
